Discuss and differentiate line organisation and staff organisation

Management of any organisation is managed by professional employee, who are responsible for any decision taking process to take a good turn and give the better progress.

In any organisation, there are two types of relationship among all the employee and staff, who are committed.

  1. Line Organisation
  2. Staff Organisation

LINE ORGANISATION:

The line organisation is same like a chain line of employee, who having a responsible post step by step.

Example: For any Construction project, this is shown as below

  • The Company is mainly depend upon the project head of that particular project, i.e. PM (Project Manager)
  • The Project manager sub divide responsibility into senior Engineer in different fields i.e. Structural Engineer, Survey Engineer, QA & QC Engineer etc
